Application for membership
1. The Secretary shall announce openings for membership in the monthly meeting notice as they occur.

2. Individuals interested in becoming members, who meet the requirements set forth in these by laws, shall secure the sponsorship of two (2) members in good standing. They shall then request a membership application from the Secretary. The prospective member shall complete the application and have it signed by his co sponsors before returning it to the Secretary. The application will be signed by the co sponsors only after they have examined the applicant's qualifications and can attest to the applicant meeting the minimum requirements as set forth in these by laws.

3. The Secretary will forward the application to the Membership Committee for review and action. The committee will then make their recommendation to the Board of Directors, who, in turn, will make their recommendation to the membership. The above process will be conducted in accordance with the Membership Application guidelines, issued separately.

4. Following these reviews and recommendations, the Secretary shall then publish notice of the pending application and the recommendations in the next possible meeting notice.

5. At the next regular meeting, the applicant's co sponsors shall jointly present the application to the membership and, following discussion of the person's qualifications, a secret ballot shall be taken among the members in attendance. An applicant may be accepted as a member upon the affirmative vote of seventy five (75) percent of the members voting at the meeting.
