1) NIDXA Outstanding Dx'er Award: The best NIDXA Dx'er this year

Award Procedure

NIDXA Outstanding DXer Award is based on results published in the ARRL DXCC Yearbook for the present year, plus the ranking of NIDXA members in the Clinton B. DeSoto Challenge Cap Winners and the DXCC Annual list for

The lowest ranking total is the winner. A ranking is added for sections where the member had no entry. (For example: 27 for mixed where there were 26 entries) 

2) NIDXA Outstanding Contester Award: The best NIDXA Contester this year.

Award Procedure

NIDXA Outstanding Contester Award is based on published (completed year) scores for the following contests: 

Based on published individual contest scores of NIDXA members and submitted scores contributing to the NIDXA club score. This information must be submitted to the club Secretary.  The highest total score is the winner 

3) NIDXA "Special" Award 

A thank you for something nice a fellow member has done during the year. Sometimes we forget to take the time to remember the "'Special things". 

Award Procedure

The award is based on at least five nominations from NIDXA members.  Nominations are to be submitted to the committee by the October meeting. All members are eligible to vote by secret ballot for winners at the November meeting. The Award winners are to be announced at the Winter Dinner,

4) NIDXA "'Sand Bag" Award 

Where did this member come from? Who was the first member to work the new country? Who was the first one to get thru the pile up? Everyone is wondering what has changed to account for this new activity

The award is based on at least five nominations from NIDXA members.  Nominations are to be submitted to the committee by the October meeting. All members are eligible to vote by secret ballot for winners at the November meeting. The Award winners are to be announced at the Winter Dinner,

5) NIDXA Ham of the Year Trophy 

The NIDXA member who stands out above all others in his or her contributions to Ham Radio.
